Booklet was a X-Mas gift to the members of the Infantry Assault Gun Battery 15
which was presumably on a long term detachment to the Sturm-Bataillon Nr. 7
Although
the Photo quality is not that great and the motives are somewhat mundane, it
must be remembered that the Photos were meant for the men in the unit not for
collectors 100 years later, for that reason things like the swimming hole at
the Mühlenferme near the Sturmbataillon’s HQ at Bosmont mean less to us than it
did to a member of the Sturmbataillon.
Taking that
into account, please enjoy this rare glance at life as a member of the
Sturmbataillon Nr. 7
